A NEW CHAPTER:

AVMA Insurance Services logo

In 2025, the AVMA Trust announced plans to unify AVMA LIFE and AVMA PLIT under a single administrator, Pearl Insurance. On June 1, 2026, the two programs will formally launch as one unified brand: AVMA Insurance Services.

This transition reflects our goal of unifying the service experience for all members—regardless of coverage type, specialty, or practice type. It also supports a broader strategy to strengthen program alignment, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the long-term protection of AVMA members through offerings specific to the needs of the veterinary profession.

While our name is changing, our mission remains the same: to partner with the AVMA to provide unparalleled member value through solutions, services, and products that enhance the security and protection needed for the success of members' personal and professional goals.

The AVMA Trust had a goal to unify and elevate the overall service experience for all members, regardless of coverage type, area of specialty, or practice type, and to create a common service experience for AVMA LIFE and AVMA PLIT. After years of research, followed by a thorough evaluation process, the AVMA Trust determined that Pearl Insurance, a subsidiary of Brown & Brown, was the appropriate partner to build the future one-broker solution that will better serve members and their needs. Pearl is familiar with the AVMA Trust as it has been the broker/administrator for the AVMA LIFE products since 2017. The AVMA Trust recognizes all the hard work, dedication, and collaboration that brought both AVMA LIFE and AVMA PLIT to where they are today. We look forward to the future in providing an improved seamless solution for our members.
